I. Instrument Overview

The Intelligent Seed Testing System consists of a 16-megapixel high‑speed camera and a backlight unit. The backlight unit uses high‑brightness LED lights with an aluminum alloy frame. The software adopts advanced image processing technologies based on distance transformation, morphology, convex hull detection, etc. This equipment is mainly used for field crop yield estimation and seed testing in agriculture. Using images taken by the high‑speed camera, the software automatically calculates seed count, area, perimeter, length, width, length‑width ratio, and other parameters. Based on the weight from the balance and the seed count, the 1000‑grain weight is automatically computed. Results are displayed in lists and graphs for easy viewing and research. The system supports manual correction of seed count to ensure accuracy, data storage, report viewing, and data export in Excel format. II. Purpose The Intelligent Seed Testing System can measure the count, 1000/100‑grain weight, and average grain morphology (length, width, length‑width ratio, perimeter, area) of various smooth‑surfaced seeds. Using image recognition, image positioning, and spatial transformation technologies, it quickly identifies seed quantity and crop trait indicators. III. Features 1. Imaging: 16MP auto‑focus color high‑speed camera and ultra‑thin backlight panel; automatic correction for image distortion and backlight uniformity; applicable seed diameter: 0.5–20 mm.   Full and empty rice seeds require air separation before counting to determine seed setting rate. 3. Counting range: 1–2000 grains per test; counting error: ≤ ±0.1%–0.4%; 1000‑grain weight error: ≤ ±0.5%. 4. Automatically measures average grain parameters: average length, width, ratio, area, perimeter. 5. Sample record and weight input for automatic 1000‑grain weight calculation; computer‑controlled, one‑key operation. 6. Data export: images can be saved; automatic summary reports and Excel output. 7.
